The Power of Perception

One of my personal heroes is Bruce Lipton. I am especially fond of his work dealing with perception. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Bruce, He is an internationally recognized leader in bridging science and spirit. He is a stem cell biologist, a pioneer in the new biology, bestselling author of The Biology of Belief and recipient of the 2009 Goi Peace Award (Japan) in honor of his scientific contribution to world harmony. Bruce was on the faculty of the University of Wisconsin’s School of Medicine and later performed groundbreaking stem-cell research at Stanford University. He has been a guest speaker on hundreds of TV and radio shows, as well as keynote presenter for national and international conferences. He conveys his knowledge of our cell structure and biology through a lens of spirituality. It is just brilliant!  He refers to this as epigenetics, or basically what occurs prior to the formulation of our genetic structure. He believes our genetics do not control our biology but rather our perceptions. I won't try to explain it all myself for fear of screwing it up so here is a video of a lecture by Bruce that explains this whole theory.

Genetics, Epigenetics, and Destiny - An Interview with Bruce Lipton.
